  • Everyone knows Terry Fator by now.  I think his is one of the greatest entertainers of our time.  I put him up there with the best of the best.  Surfing around YouTube, I found this "favorites" of someone.  They are representative of the range and depth of his talent.  Check it out.

  • This guy is amazing.  The most strange thing about this video clip from Britain's Got Talent is the judges were surprised by a counter tenor voice.  Counter tenors have been around since the mid 17th century.  These judges claim to be experts in the music field and they don't know Jack....?  FYI The first I saw is still singing.  His name is Jeff Dooley. Check this website  http://www.bach-cantatas.com/Bio/Dooley-Jeffrey.htm

  • I received this from my sister, Georgia.  A very creative video from Alaska.  This video from the small Yupiq Eskimo Village of Quinhagak, Alaska , was a school computer project intended for the other Yupiq villages in the area. Much to the villagers' shock, over a half million people have viewed it.http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=LyviyF-N23A
  • I have always liked tenors beginning with Enrico Caruso.  Today, three kids, yes, teenagers, from Italy are wowing the classical music scene.  If you haven't heard "The Flight," you are missing a treat even if you don't like tenors.

  • Many may never have heard taps played in its entirety.  For all of the men and women that have died for the freedom we have in America, this is an opportunity you won't want to miss. The original version of Taps was called Last Post, and was written by Daniel Butterfield in 1801. It was rather lengthy and formal, as you will hear in this clip, so in 1862 it was shortened to 24 notes and re-named Taps.
Melissa Venema, age 13, is playing it on a trumpet whereby the original was played on a buglehttp://www.flixxy.com/trumpet-solo-melissa-venema.htm

Time for a couple of new entries.  The first is difficult to describe. After you've seen it, try to explain it to someone. I didn't know anyone could think of this.  A variation on a jog in the morning.

  • When I first saw this in Power Point, I marveled at the planning, time, and expense involved in making it. Someone named Patrick ELIE has signed some of the photos and he deserves a lot of accolades for taking photos shot during World War II in Normandy and showing the same location today.  A labor of love I'm sure.  I converted this to PDF as well for your convenience.

If someone told me you could teach dozens of birds to eat from a human hand, I would have trouble believing.  Well an Alaskan did it and with outstanding photographic documentation.  He has plenty of other outstanding videos to enjoy as well.

  • Before watching the video clip, read the background below.
Several years ago, Rockwell International decided to get into the heavy duty automatic transmission business.  They were getting ready to tape their first introductory video. As a warm- up, the professional narrator began what has become a legend within the training industry. This man should have won an academy award for his stellar performance.  Now remember, this is strictly off the cuff, nothing is written down. And nothing he says is true; it's all meaningless drivel, made up as he goes along. I think you will enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime performance.

I am not an expert so those years may not be accurate, but I remember it played a lot in those years. A young man from Sweden had adopted the style and is one of the most popular performers in Europe. The young man and young woman dancing to the music are truly athletes and artists.
