  • I am not in to Christmas much, though I will spend Christmas with two of my grandchildren.  Heath is three and will have a big time.  It is also my son's 50th birthday.  For all you patriots and Christmas buffs, here is your Christmas video.

  • I received this from my sister, Georgia.  A very creative video from Alaska.  This video from the small Yupiq Eskimo Village of Quinhagak, Alaska , was a school computer project intended for the other Yupiq villages in the area. Much to the villagers' shock, over a half million people have viewed it.http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=LyviyF-N23A
  • I have always liked tenors beginning with Enrico Caruso.  Today, three kids, yes, teenagers, from Italy are wowing the classical music scene.  If you haven't heard "The Flight," you are missing a treat even if you don't like tenors.

  • Many may never have heard taps played in its entirety.  For all of the men and women that have died for the freedom we have in America, this is an opportunity you won't want to miss. The original version of Taps was called Last Post, and was written by Daniel Butterfield in 1801. It was rather lengthy and formal, as you will hear in this clip, so in 1862 it was shortened to 24 notes and re-named Taps.
Melissa Venema, age 13, is playing it on a trumpet whereby the original was played on a buglehttp://www.flixxy.com/trumpet-solo-melissa-venema.htm

    Great Photos.
